Text Box: The American Red Cross now recommends that the rate of CPR compressions be 30 compressions followed by 2 breaths for a victim that shows “no signs of life”. This is obviously a substantial increase from the 15 compressions and 2 breaths taught for many years. Also, once rescuers begins CPR, they are not to stop until another trained rescuer takes over, the area is not safe, you are too exhausted to continue CPR or if there obvious signs of life like movement or breathing. Courses fill on a first come, first serve basis with a 15 person maximum,  except Wilderness First Aid.  Registrations close 3 days prior to the course, and courses with less than 6 people may be rescheduled. 

Please check with your doctor about any health concerns you may have before attending a course.  Participants who appear ill may be asked to leave with, of course, a full refund or course transfer.
